555 Litho White is a standard backing for litho printed transfers. After Litho Transfers have been printed a plastisol coating must be applied onto the image area. This coating should be applied within 24 to 36 hours after litho printing. The screen coating is usually an opaque white such as 555 litho white, so the transfer can transfer onto dark materials.
